Trump lashes out at reporter for asking about Epstein ‘client list’

When a reporter asked about convicted businessman Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide in Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, President Trump angrily attempted to silence him.

The president’s response on Tuesday did little to allay the suspicions of many who still maintain that Epstein maintained a clientele that might have included Trump. It happened the day after the Justice Department declared that no such list existed and that no more details would be made public.

Is this individual still being discussed? This jerk? Trump lost his temper at the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. That isn’t possible. Would you rather squander time?

The president asked reporters to leave his old friend alone and instead concentrate on the floods in Texas that has killed over 100 people in recent days.

Trump complained, “It just seems like a desecration.”

Since the 66-year-old Brooklyn native was arrested and subsequently committed himself, right-wing conspiracy theories have been fueled by Epstein’s purported ties to influential people in politics, industry, and entertainment.

In 2002, Trump, who was known to party with Epstein, told New York magazine that Epstein was a delightful man who shared his love of ladies and young people. However, the president has not been accused of any wrongdoing in relation to the deceased sexual offender.

The MAGA faithful have become irate about the Trump administration’s refusal to provide the so-called Epstein papers, demanding damning evidence to back up their numerous conspiracy theories about Epstein.

Elon Musk, a billionaire businessman and online conspirator, was Trump’s largest donor in the 2024 presidential election. However, he has now turned against Trump, claiming that Trump’s name is on an Epstein client list.

On Tuesday, Musk persisted in his criticism of Trump.

If Trump refuses to make the Epstein files public, how can anyone expect them to trust him? Musk posted the question on social media.

When Attorney General Pam Bondi informed Fox News in February that the material was on her desk for inspection, she contributed to the speculations of a client list. Later, she explained that she was talking about Epstein’s extensive Department of Justice file.

In May, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino also shocked conspiracy theorists by confirming Epstein’s suicide, even though social media detectives suspected a deep state trying to protect the powerful was responsible.
