Grahamsville, New York: I recently read the vile, full-page essay written by Rabbi Dov Fischer. In The Country Vues, a weekly summer publication widely read in Sullivan County and the Borscht Belt, a sizable Orthodox Jewish community summer vacation destination, let’s assume that Israel agrees to the complete departure of Gaza and all of Hamas’ demands. It promoted violence and murder and was rife with hate and malice.
In exchange for the release of Palestinian detainees, I am writing to ask that the innocent hostages be released immediately, regardless of their health, and to assist and feed the famished adults, children, and newborns while also protecting medical institutions. Give peace a chance, please.
Fischer represents whom? I think he represents or supports very big money and big business, which makes money both directly and indirectly by causing conflict, killing people without cause, and allowing destruction, mostly through the production and mass distribution of weapons of mass destruction, such as heavy bombs, air and ground artillery, bullets, guns, rifles, ammunition, aircraft, jet planes, tanks, trucks, missiles, drones, and other weapons of mass destruction, such as those the United States is providing to Israel.
Furthermore, in order to further power, astronomical sums of money are being spent on espionage, provocateurs, domestic undercover troublemakers, and those who incite racial hatred, damage, injury, and disturbance at all levels and locations. Fischer’s goal is to deceive and mislead law police, legislators, and even the president in order to incite and encourage violent acts by sick, degenerate, and evil individuals. According to Fischer’s prophecy, the streets may turn yellow with radioactive remnants when the Messiah arrives and there is peace in the Holy Land.Brenner, William A.
L.I., Long Island City: As a devoted fan of Hulkamania, I was shocked to learn that at WrestleMania III in 1987, Hulk Hogan pinned and smashed 520-pound Andr the Giant. This was broadcast on 1010 WINS radio. It was unbelievable to me. I was overjoyed.Chaddock, Steve
New York’s Yorktown Heights: Does a glue trap create more agony than any other product on the market? Animals trapped in glue traps are frightened and make vain attempts to break free, frequently tearing off their skin, fur, or feathers. Additionally, attempts to flee may result in shattered and chewed limbs as well as wounded organs. Days may pass with the constant suffering before the animal passes away from shock or dehydration. There are numerous more ways to control rodents, but the best ones include maintaining the highest level of cleanliness, storing food in durable containers, and disposing of waste in sealed bins. Rodents will not remain and procreate if there is no food available. Additional techniques include using cotton soaked in ammonia to seal holes and using mint pouches and sprays. There are extra humane traps available if they are required. Additionally, the CDC cautions against the use of glue traps because they expose handlers to pathogens through urine, excrement, and blood that has adhered to them.Scotto, James
St. Albans: I’m amazed that people drive to food pantries. Food is out of their price range, but petrol is. Those who engage in such behavior ought to be prohibited from all city pantries.Langer, Leslie
Bronx: After years of living in an apartment complex, you may even get friendly with some of your neighbors. Everyone tries to watch out for one another in the numerous apartment complexes in New York City. Unfortunately, some of our neighbors are not good neighbors. By stealing products that are delivered to the building’s inhabitants, they are the ones that cause discomfort. A ring camera was installed after there were some delivery problems and the parcels suddenly vanished from in front of the door. Witnessing a neighbor take packages that weren’t theirs was quite upsetting. This was neither a new renter nor an acquaintance. For more over two decades, this individual was regarded as a reliable neighbor. The naked city has a million stories. This will be remembered as one of those.Girven Walker, Arlana Solomon
Massapequa, L.I.: To Phil Antico, the voice actor: The mainstream media and liberal left get away with claiming that crime has decreased for a very straightforward reason. In order to manipulate the crime statistics, liberal prosecutors in all big cities either drop the case completely or plea bargain a felony down to a misdemeanor. The unfortunate thing is that some individuals do believe them.Ascher, Tom
L.I. Malverne: To all of my Voicer friends: Feel free to quote as many figures from throughout the nation as you like. One thing I would constantly say as an NYPD precinct crime analysis sergeant was: Liars figure, and figures lie. You can use statistics to back up whatever argument or story you like. The sentiment of the populace as a whole is the real statistic. Putting this aside, facts can be found by looking just at our own past. NYC made significant progress in reducing crime under the direction of Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Governor George Pataki. As a result of its success, it became a national model! Under Mayor Mike Bloomberg, who first ran as a Republican before switching to an Independent for his third term, this persisted. Despite having a number of Democratic governors throughout this period, the issue didn’t really begin until Andrew Cuomo’s second term.Kalin, Dave
Utica, New York: Is there ever a more pitiful sight than President Trump sitting there like Walter the Puppet as Vladimir Putin talked endlessly about their meeting, acting as though he were Jeff Dunham and speaking for both of them? When it was ultimately Trump’s turn to speak, he got to his feet, made an effort to appear tough, and declared, “What he said!” as the Free World’s heart fell. The last time we saw such a sorry scene was in Helsinki in 2018, when Trump (surprise!) acquiesced to Putin’s intelligence findings over our own, claiming that Russia had never meddled in the 2016 presidential election (in Trump’s favor) and that both nations were to blame for the deplorable state of relations between the United States and Russia. Trump and his Republican allies have shown a vulnerability that is deadly to our democracy and the global community.Joan and Jeff Ganeles
Australia’s Melbourne: Like many outsiders, I am fascinated by U.S. politics but don t fully understand it, so I decided to read a few books specifically, Fear: Trump in the White House by Bob Woodward and The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir by John Bolton. I anticipated a variety of viewpoints, yet I discovered certain commonalities. Though not in a positive light, both volumes detailed the inner workings of the Trump administration. So far, there hasn t been a successful attempt to sue either author, though Trump has tried. Given that the president doesn t seem to appreciate any criticism, the raid on Bolton s house and office by the Trump Department of Justice could be seen as an act of retaliation for his book. Do your job correctly, equitably, and without bias or favor if you don’t want to receive criticism for it. They’re both great books.Dennis Fitzgerald
Whiting, N.J.: Voicer Paul Bloustein writes that the Democratic Party needs to remember how to lose with grace. Really? He also describes Trump as boisterous and exuberant, and references reading tea leaves and Dems being confined to a kennel. Might be time for someone in this man s family to do a welfare check on this gentleman.Bill McConnell
Jacksonville, Fla.: Of course, imprisoned for contributing to the sex trafficking and abuse of young girls, Ghislaine Maxwell didn t implicate the White House s Orange Man with participating in the sick Jeffrey Epstein s orgies with young girls! It was a staged, rehearsed interview with the Orange Man s former criminal defense lawyer and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, in order to obtain a full pardon from The Donald! It s the old adage: Kiss butt and get out of jail free!Carl J.C. Hafner
