Since flag football became a club sport across the New Jersey high school landscape in 2021, head coach Mickey McDermott and his Ridgewood girls flag football team have been regarded as the “standard” on the gridiron.
Over the last four years, Ridgewood has racked up a mark of 46-2. Its only loss to a state opponent was in 2022 to the eventual state champion, Irvington.
