A Florida lawmaker allegedly threatened to disclose sex tapes and naked videos of the current Miss United States after she broke up with him.
Politico reported Tuesday that 25-year-old Lindsey Langston claims that after she ended their relationship in February, 45-year-old Republican Rep. Cory Mills became more and more irate. Langston is a member of the Republican state committee in addition to her pageant career.
According to a police report first obtained by D.C. blog Drop Site News, Mills made vague threats against any males who dated her in the future and threatened to distribute sexual recordings of Langston in a number of messages on various platforms.
Allow him to conceal his behavior. I can also email him some videos of you. According to the report, Mills allegedly wrote in one of the messages, “Oh, I still have them.”
According to Langston, she broke up with Mills after he was charged in February with assaulting a different lady in Washington, D.C. In that case, no charges were brought.
Mills refuted Langston’s allegations in a statement to The Hill on Wednesday, saying they were inaccurate and did not reflect the character of my contacts.
Threatening to release someone’s explicit material is a federal offense as well as a state offense in Florida. The Take It Down Act, which forbids the unconsented online dissemination of intimate photographic representations of people, was supported by Mills himself.
Langston’s victory in last year’s Miss United States pageant is unrelated to Miss America or Miss USA.
