Greetings, Miss Manners For more than 15 years, I have been married to a really kind man. We have an extremely open connection, and I have never developed the practice of hiding anything from him. But my lifelong friend just found out that something from our time in college had turned up online.
This video shows my friend and I competing in a spring break wet T-shirt competition. We actually both stripped completely during the competition in an attempt to win, losing both our shirts and bottoms. Near the end of the competition, we even gave each other a small booty smack.
Well, it’s online now. On the one hand, we believe that since it’s from a long time ago, at least we look decent. However, it’s a little awkward, especially for me, as my husband would find this very unexpected and inconsistent with who I am.
Should I tell our husbands, or should my friend? How most men would respond if an old video of their naked wife appeared online is unknown to us!
GENTLE READER: Sending it to them for hush money from a stranger is preferable to receiving it from you.
Miss Manners laughs it off and attributes it to the foolishness of youth, so she urges you to approach him first.
Your husband undoubtedly has past transgressions he would like forget; if he doesn’t behave merely silently perplexed, you may remind him of them.
