Livingston suffered its first losing streak of the season after falling to Millburn in the final round of the Essex County Tournament earlier in the season. The team had also dropped three of its previous four games.
Second-seeded Livingston (16-11) defeated Bloomfield (18-11) 2-0 (32-20) (25-18) on Wednesday at Livingston High School, securing their spot in the North Jersey, Group 4 sectional title game.
