Swifties have been purchasing Chiefs merchandise and keeping tabs on whether Swift would attend every home game since she and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce started dating. And now? People speculate that she might end up co-owning the Chiefs!
Is Taylor Swift buying the Kansas City Chiefs?
Taylor Swift is not going to be a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs anytime soon, despite what you may have read online.
Since Swift and Kelce began dating in the fall of 2023, the sports media has been talking about the musical legend constantly. Swift has even sparked rumors that the NFL is rigging football games.
Therefore, it didn’t seem like a far-fetched concept when fresh rumors began to circulate that Swift might invest in the Kansas City Chiefs. especially considering Swift’s $1.6 billion net fortune.
Celebrities have been heavily investing in sports clubs in recent years. For example, Ryan Reynolds and actor Rob Mac bought Wrexham AFC, and Michael B. Jordan bought a share in AFC Bournemouth. Therefore, it appeared very plausible that Taylor Swift would invest in the Kansas City Chiefs.
Even NFL commissioner Roger Goodell stated, through Albert Breer, on X, “I think she has the ability to do it if she’s interested.”
Regarding Swift and Kelce’s relationship, Goodell added, “They’re happy.” Their relationship is fantastic and they appear to be enjoying it. It has helped more NFL fans and Taylor’s fans realize how linked they are to our game. Travis is a tremendous athlete, she is an incredible artist, and I believe it is fantastic for the league.
It appears like Taylor Swift will continue to support her boyfriend from the sidelines and, ideally, write another album as there has been no formal announcement or indication that she is investing in the Kansas City Chiefs.
