In response to Melania Trump’s threat to sue him for $1 billion if he doesn’t apologize and retract his claims that Jeffrey Epstein introduced her and Donald Trump, Hunter Biden refused to apologize on Thursday.
Hunter Biden responded to a question concerning the ten-figure demand for an apology by saying, “Fuck that.” Not going to occur.
The former president’s son claimed he was only restating journalist Michael Wolff’s accusations regarding Melania Trump and Epstein’s relationship.
Hunter Biden attributed his findings to reports from other media, such as Vanity Fair and the New York Times, that go back to 2019.
On Thursday, President Trump acknowledged the threat and declared his approval of his wife’s legal plan.
The Trump told Fox News radio, “I told you to go ahead.” The introduction of Melania and myself has nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. However, they do that. They fabricate tales.
In a letter to Hunter Biden dated August 6, Alejandro Brito, Melania Trump’s attorney, threatened the jumbo-sized lawsuit. Fox News was the first to report on the letter on Wednesday night.
The first lady objects to remarks made by former President Biden’s son in a highly publicized YouTube conversation with reporter Andrew Callaghan last month.
According to Biden at the time, Epstein brought Melania to Trump. The relationships are really deep and extensive.
According to Melania and Donald Trump, modeling agency Paolo Zampolli introduced them at a party during New York Fashion Week in 1998.
Both admit to being acquaintances with Epstein, who resided close to Trump’s Palm Beach waterfront estate, Mar-a-Lago. However, President Trump claims that because the sex trafficker was a jerk and stole from his staff, he severed his relationship with him.
“The statements are false, defamatory, and extremely salacious,” Brito said, adding that the first lady suffered severe financial and reputational harm as a result of the remarks, which were extensively shared on social media and covered by international media sources.
In the final weeks of his presidency, Hunter Biden was pardoned by his father after being found guilty of federal drug and firearm offenses.
Hunter Biden returned to the public eye in the Callaghan interview, when he also criticized prominent Democrats for pressuring his father to abandon his 2024 reelection campaign.
