In 2025, the Fourth of July falls on a Friday, setting the stage for an exciting holiday weekend filled with parades, concerts, fireworks, and festivals in New Jersey.
There are many of July 4th activities to choose from, and we have everything you need if you’re planning a hectic weekend of grilling or going to the Jersey Shore.
Look carefully at the listings below, as some events are even planned for the weekend before July 4th.
Just a friendly reminder that although some ground-based fireworks are now permitted in New Jersey, professional pyrotechnics should still be used.

The New Jersey Wind Symphony will perform at 8 p.m. and the event will conclude with a fireworks display. The rain date is July 5.

will hold a Fireworks Celebration at Memorial Park on July 3. The rain date is July 7. Live music starts at 6:30 p.m. with fireworks set for 9:15 p.m.
