The top executive at health startup eMed is Linda Yaccarino, the former CEO of X, who departed the social media platform last month following another Elon Musk scandal.

For patients taking GLP-1 drugs to treat diabetes and obesity, such as Wegovy and Ozempic, eMed Population Health offers support.

Our goal is to use GLP-1 medicines to transform the way individuals obtain safe, efficient care for managing chronic conditions while developing the initiatives and tools required to maintain long-lasting health results.Yaccarino announced her new position as CEO in a post on Tuesday.

She continued, “I’m excited about the chance to help lead what could become the most impactful health initiative of our time, and this is truly a transformative moment in preventative healthcare.”

Yaccarino’s knowledge will be crucial as eMed strives to grow its services to accommodate new national and international employer and government relationships, the business said in a statement.

After two years as CEO, Yaccarino departed X in July, just one day after Grok, the company’s AI chatbot, constantly assaulted him sexually and referred to itself as MechaHitler. Although it’s unclear if Grok’s rants had anything to do with her leaving, the firm eventually apologized and blamed a system update.

She experienced a lot of turmoil during her tenure at X as Musk sparked a series of scandals that drove away advertisers.

Yaccarino was the chair of global advertising and partnerships at NBCUniversal Media.

Prior to switching to weight-loss medications, eMed was founded in 2020 and provided COVID-19 testing and services.
