Wide receiver who was named an NFL All-ProSt. Brown, Amon-RaIf his old man continues to be this honest, he might think about removing his father from his show.
Amon-Ra Brown and his brother Equanimeous’ father, John Brown, seems to believe that his Black Gold is the source of his kids’ gifts.
In a recent episode of the St. Brown Podcast, John thus cautioned two of his three boys against diluting his lineage or facing the repercussions of having small, clumsy children.
They’re curious about… how I achieved it. “I think breeding is a good idea,” John replied. Observe yourself, Amon-Ra. competent athlete. Equanimeous is a good athlete. Mom is white, and I’m Black. Once, I did step on it. Because you will ruin it, you cannot keep stomping on it. You cannot continue to chop it.
While John, a Black man, was a bodybuilder in the 1980s and a two-time amateur Mr. Universe in 1981 and 1982, St. Brown’s mother, Miriam Brown, hails from Leverkusen, Germany.
I have the black gold coursing through my veins if I’m Black. “Oh, I’m thrilled,” John said. All I’m going to do is look for the proper partner.
And if I’m white, I’m saying, “If you want athletes, let me bring one of these brothers over here.” Go ahead and sow your seed anywhere you want if you don’t want athletes.
John said, “I knew I could cut it once,” in response to the brothers’ question about why their father had cut it at all. Mama has that large chin and big toes, and I have that Black gold in me. Nothing is wrong with a woman who wears huge toes.
Amon-Ra St. Brown followed a football career, as did his brothers Equanimeous and Osiris, both of whom made it to the NFL. Equanimeous now plays for the New Orleans Saints after being selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 2018 wide receiver draft. The youngest, Amon-Ra, was selected by the Detroit Lions in the 2021 NFL Draft and was named to the first team twice.
The middle kid, Osiris, played wide receiver at Stanford, but injuries ended his career early.
