The beloved 1995 movie is returning to theaters thanks to Fathom Entertainment.
Five years ago, on the 25th anniversary of Clueless, Fathom attempted to do the same thing. But when movie theaters were closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, those plans were canceled.

However, Clueless is still very appealing.
As star Alicia Silverstone prepares to reprise her role as Cher Horowitz in a forthcoming “Clueless” series for Peacock, the Amy Heckerling-directed film will make a comeback starting this weekend. A previous Clueless television program ran for two seasons on UPN and one season on ABC in the late 1990s.
The original film, which was also scripted by Heckerling, is a very 90s Beverly Hills adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma from 1815.

The comedy, which debuted on July 19, 1995, made over $56 million in the US and was an unexpected summer blockbuster.
In the movie, Silverstone costarred with New Jersey actors Paul Rudd (Josh), Brittany Murphy (Tai), and Stacey Dash (Dionne).
Donald Faison (Murray), Elizabeth Donovan (Amber), Breckin Meyer (Travis), Justin Walker (Christian), Jeremy Sisto (Elton), Dan Hedaya (Mel Horowitz), Wallace Shawn (Mr. Hall), and Twink Caplan (Miss Geist) were all part of the Clueless cast.

For the film’s 30th anniversary screening at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, Silverstone, Heckerling, Donovan, Meyer, Clueless costume designer Mona May, and casting director Marcia Ross recently got back together.
