On Thursday, Bruce Springsteen, a legend from New Jersey, was seen interacting with fans on the Jersey Shore.
As residents and media teams gathered to document Hurricane Erin’s effects throughout the Atlantic Coast, the Boss visited Manasqaun on Thursday.
Many individuals spotted Springsteen on the ocean, including Sam Pearlberg, general manager of Carlson’s Corner on 1st Avenue in Manasquan.
On Friday, Pearlberg told NJ Advance Media, “I wasn’t sure if it was Springsteen.” Until I noticed that he was being photographed.
According to Pearlberg, Springsteen initially chose not to bother The Boss since he was on the boardwalk receiving a phone call. Pearlberg, however, compared the scenario to something from a movie as the music legend returned to the street from the inlet.
According to Pearlberg, it was similar to Forrest Gump sprinting with the crowd gathering behind him. Behind him, people were simply recording on their phones and doing other similar tasks. It was crazy.
As he was strolling, Pearlberg and his colleague managed to grab Springsteen, who consented to be photographed.
After his experience Thursday, Pearlberg described how he was in the same area as Springsteen at the Sea Hear Now music festival last year and called the Freehold native a pretty cool guy.
Pearlberg stated, “He just came down here in glasses and a checkered shirt, just strolling down the inlet, seeing what was going on.” He’s awesome.
Since his early years, Springsteen has traveled to the Jersey Shore river that separates Manasquan and Point Pleasant Beach, and fans have seen him there many times.
An excerpt from the well-known Born to Run album, “Lonely Night in the Park,” was released by the rock singer on Friday. When he joined Zach Bryan to play Atlantic City at Bryan’s tour stop at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford earlier this summer, he garnered media attention.
