Atlanta CDC shooter blamed COVID vaccine for his depression

Authorities claimed on Saturday that the man who killed a police officer by firing a barrage of gunshots on the Centers for Disease Control on Friday attributed his sadness on the COVID-19 vaccine.

After shooting at the CDC in Atlanta, Patrick White, 30, was discovered dead in a pharmacy across the street from the agency’s offices. It wasn’t immediately apparent, according to investigators, if he killed himself by shooting himself or was killed by gunshots fired by responding police.

According to his father and law enforcement officials, White blamed the COVID vaccine for his declining mental condition.

Nancy Hoalst, White’s neighbor, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that White was extremely uneasy and firmly believed that immunizations were harming both him and other people.

According to police, White set up across the street and started firing after being denied entry to the CDC’s main building. While responding to the scene, DeKalb County police officer David Rose, 33, was shot and killed.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s anti-vaccine campaigns helped propel him to his current position as the country’s top health official. Despite the fact that numerous scientific studies have demonstrated that the COVID vaccine probably saved millions of lives, Kennedy has consistently opposed it since its introduction.

Kennedy and Russell Vought, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, who was chosen by President Trump, have been called to resign by fired CDC staff.

We want the bureaucrats to be traumatized, Vought stated in 2024, prior to his appointment. Since they are increasingly seen as the bad guys, we want them to be reluctant to go to work when they wake up in the morning.

Employees were instructed by the CDC to work from home or take Monday off.
