Nintendois returned to Amazon after a break, and on Prime Day, he unexpectedly unveiled the Nintendo Switch 2.
You can order the Nintendo Switch 2 System ($450) or the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle ($500) by obtaining an invitation to buy.
Following claims by Bloomberg that the video game business halted sales because of a disagreement with Amazon on third-party sales, Nintendo has returned to selling directly to Amazon. IGN states that Nintendo swiftly denied those allegations.
The system has sold out quickly and is currently only available for purchase at Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and GameStop. Walmart has already restocked the Switch 2 twice, but both times they sold out.
Due to limited numbers, you can now get either console from Amazon by receiving an invitation to purchase. But according to the Amazon listings, we won’t be able to fulfill every request, so it’s best to send out the invitation as soon as possible before they disappear.
A link letting you know that your request is being handled will be sent to you via email. You will receive a link to shop and order the Switch 2 for 22 hours if you are selected to buy the console.
If you are not selected, though, there is still hope. According to Amazon, you don’t have to submit another request for the next three months if you aren’t chosen in this round of invites because your request may still be chosen in subsequent rounds.
A larger, brighter 7.9-inch LCD touch screen with HDR support, up to 120 frames per second, and 4K quality in Dock Mode when the Switch 2 is connected to a compatible TV is what the most recent model offers.
In addition to the standard Dock Mode, Tabletop Mode, and Handheld Mode, you can play with new features like GameChat, which uses the Joy-Con 2’s new microphone and the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera, and GameShare, which allows you to play online with friends.
The new Joy-Con 2 also attach magnetically, provide mouse capabilities for some titles, and are larger for a more comfortable grip.
Request an invitation to buy the Nintendo Switch 2 or the package as soon as possible, as you won’t be able to play the new console and highly anticipated games, such as the new Mario Kart World, if it sells out again.
