At the age of 33, an actress who was well-known for her parts in a number of hit drama television shows passed away.

The Walking Dead character Addy, played by Kelley Mack, passed away in her hometown of Cincinnati on Saturday. In an Instagram post on the actress’s profile, her sister Kathryn revealed the news of her passing.

The actress’s family wrote a statement on CaringBridge stating that she had been fighting glioma. One kind of brain tumor that impacts the central nervous system is called a glioma.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce our beloved Kelley’s demise. According to the article, “such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all must eventually go.”

Mack revealed in January that she had been found to have diffuse midline glioma, an incredibly uncommon form of astrocytoma cancer.

According to the actress, she started having chronic lower back discomfort in October 2024. She sought medical attention in November after the pain worsened, and an MRI revealed an abnormal tumor in her spinal cord.

When Mack was cast in an episode of Unusual Suspects in 2015, her career as a television actress officially began. She later made appearances in television series such as Chicago Med (2022), 9-1-1 (2019), and The Walking Dead (2018–2019). Her final on-screen role was in the 2025 edition of the movie Universal.
