Tonight, another houseguest packed their stuff.

In the Thursday, August 21 episode of the CBS reality show, Rylie Jeffries was the sixth houseguest to be kicked out of Big Brother 27. The closest vote of the season, 5–4, resulted in his eviction.

After learning of the news, Katherine Woodman, Rylie’s showmance partner, started crying. Julie Chen Moonves, the presenter of Big Brother, reminded Rylie that she was waiting for him onstage outside because he took his time saying farewell to his other housemates.

Returning contestant Rachel Reilly nominated Vince Panaro, Mickey Lee, and Morgan Pope for eviction earlier this week after winning the Head of Household competition. Rachel’s nominations were Mickey and Morgan’s first time on the ballot, but Vince had been nominated the week before.

After much back and forth, Lauren Domingue, Vince’s close ally, decided to exercise the Power of Veto on him. Rachel nominated Rylie, Lauren’s ally, as the replacement nominee because she was upset to see one of her targets go.

Who voted Rylie out?

Rylie appeared to have the votes to stay against both Mickey and Morgan earlier in the week. But in the end, he was voted out by Vince, Ashley Hollis, Will Williams, Ava Pearl, and Mickey.

I really can’t do Mickey? Ava joked to Chen Moonves as she entered the Diary Room to cast her ballot.
