Southwest is having a deal you won’t want to pass up if you’re planning a trip for late 2025 or early 2026.

For a brief while, passengers can purchase one-way tickets for as little as $49 with Southwest’s Sweater Weather Sale.

This sale is valid for travel inside the continental United States (including travel to and from Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations) between September 9, 2025, and March 4, 2026. It ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on Thursday, August 21. The dates of travel for interisland travel in Hawaii are September 9, 2025, through November 1, 2025.

Fares are available on nonstop service as specified, and there are restricted seats, travel days, and markets. Only one connecting flight is eligible for the promotion if nonstop service is not specified.

Southwest also reminds out that government fees, which start at $5.60 for a one-way ticket, are not included in points bookings.

What s the catch?

Before booking that flight, keep the following in mind since there are a few factors to consider with the Sweater Weather Sale:

First off, there is no refund for these flights.

Second, you have to buy your tickets at least 21 days before your trip.

Third, and above all, remember blackout dates and make appropriate plans:
