Disney Store’s new Minnie Mouse ghost lamp drops soon, and it’s been sparking spirited showdowns in parks

There’s a new Halloween queen in town, so get rid of Mickey pumpkins.

Disney fans are already enchanted by the Minnie Mouse Cutie Ghost, and on Monday, August 11 at 11 a.m. ET, her most sought-after form—a shimmering, smiling lamp that is equal parts sweet and eerie—will arrive at the Disney Store.

Customers have been rushing to purchase one of the $60 items that she has already appeared in Disney Parks and resort souvenir shops. When this dainty ghoul comes online, we can only image how quickly she will fly.

Minnie Mouse is depicted on the lamp as a ghost, holding a pumpkin and sporting her trademark red bow. It’s a lighthearted reference to Halloween that looks sophisticated enough to go with a variety of interior design themes.

When combined with pumpkins, mums, or other seasonal elements, light-up Minnie creates a cozy, inviting glow for guests and trick-or-treaters on a front porch or stoop. She looks great indoors on a side table, bookshelf, or console in the foyer and adds a delicate seasonal touch without overpowering your room.

Additionally, Disney enthusiasts can select the version that best suits their indoor and outdoor aesthetics because she comes in two glow options: white and pink-red. While the pink-red version brings warmth and a splash of color to go with seasonal tones, we think the white light offers a more neutral, classic effect.

Additionally, families can use the lamp as a kid-friendly method to add some Halloween flair to play spaces or bedrooms. The character style gives a whimsical and playful touch without being overly eerie, and its gentle glow makes it appropriate as a nightlight.

How to shop the release on Aug. 11

We would advise planning your shop online in advance because of how popular the entire Disney Cutie Ghost Collection has become, with influencers and guests standing up and even competing to grab some of this not-so-scary Halloween merchandise.

Using the blue heart on the product page, just to the right of the Add to Bag button, which will probably say “Coming Soon” before the 11 a.m. live time, you can add any Cutie Ghost items to your Wish List if you see them appear online at the Disney Store Halloween Shop (well before 11 a.m.). This will expedite the checkout process, particularly if a virtual queue is in place.
