The shooting death of a guy sitting on a chair during a Brooklyn block party was seen on camera, and it was one of six shootings that took place in the city during the course of the previous weekend. A suspect has been taken into custody for the incident.

Tony Caba is charged with the murder of 45-year-old Roberto Cuevas in Sunset Park, close to Fourth Avenue and 57th Street, in front of horrified revelers.

According to a witness who spoke to the Daily News, the group had come together to celebrate a neighbor’s 78th birthday. Around 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, Cuevas was seated in a plastic chair on the sidewalk when the shooter approached him, suddenly pulled out a revolver, and fired five close-range shots.

Cuevas died from a gunshot wound to the back after being taken by ambulance to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn.

Caba, 39, resides in Kissimmee, Florida, according to police. On Monday, he is scheduled to be arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court on charges of murder and weapons possession.

The victim of a homicide that occurred in Brooklyn around five hours later has also been identified by police.

About 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, Wilky Toribio Perez, 23, was shot in the left shoulder on Pine Street close to Etna Street in Cypress Hills, and he passed away. Police said he lived in Flatbush.

At Brookdale University Hospital, Toribio Perez passed away.

Four other gunshots occurred around Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx on Saturday night and into Sunday morning, injuring eight more individuals.
