This week, Big Brother lived up to its motto, “Expect the Unexpected.”

In the Thursday, August 7 broadcast of the CBS reality show, Jimmy Heagerty was the fourth houseguest to be kicked out of Big Brother 27. By a vote of 9–2, he was expelled.

Both Ashley Hollis and Rachel Reilly, a returning player and Jimmy’s closest ally, voted to keep Jimmy. Ashley rushed back into the Diary Room after casting her ballot to admit that she had made a mistake and tried to alter her choice in order to retain Kelley Jorgensen. Ashley, however, was unable to alter her mind due to official Big Brother regulations.

Rylie Jeffries won the Head of Household contest earlier this week. To overthrow him, though, Mickey Lee used a secret power. Rylie had a chance to determine who was responsible for the coup, but Mickey was able to remove him and take over as the new head of state after Rylie misidentified Ashley.

After the dethroning, Mickey’s aim was Keanu Soto, even though things became quite heated between him and Rylie. She told Riley that she wanted his assistance in evicting Keanu and nominated him for eviction along with Riley and Kelley.

To the dismay of everyone in the house, Keanu removed himself from the block after winning the Power of Veto once more. Not sure who to propose as a successor, Mickey gave Vince Panaro a lot of thought.

That is, until Vince disclosed that Jimmy, Mickey’s pal, had been gambling with Keanu, the house pariah. At the last minute, Mickey decided to place Jimmy, Kelley, and Riley on the block.

Who won BB Blockbuster this week?

Jimmy and Kelley were left on the block when Rylie won the BB Blockbuster. It was Rylie’s first BB Blockbuster triumph.

When is Big Brother on next?

The upcoming Big Brother show, which airs on Sunday, August 10 at 8 p.m. ET, will feature the Head of Household competition and nominations ceremony.
