Backstage at her father Ozzy Osbourne’s last Black Sabbath show over the weekend, Kelly Osbourne and her baby’s father, Sid Wilson, got engaged.
In a scene posted on social media by his fiancée, The SlipknotDJ proposed to the singer and TV personality at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, on Saturday.
He said, “Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world,” but her husband interrupted, saying, “F k off, you’re not marrying my daughter.”
Wilson continued to praise Kelly’s qualities while announcing his plan to get married.
The 48-year-old stated that nothing would make him happier than to live out the rest of his days with you. Will you marry me, Kelly, in front of your family and all of our friends?
Kelly, 40, seemed taken aback by the suggestion. As everyone applauded, she gave Wilson a nod of approval before embracing him. Her brother Jack and mother Sharon Osbourne were also there.
On Valentine’s Day 2022, the couple, who had a 2-year-old kid named Sidney, made their affair public.
Kelly wrote, “I can’t believe where we have ended up after 23 years of friendship,” as the caption for an Instagram photo of the couple sharing a kiss. Sidney George Wilson, you are my soulmate and dearest friend, and I adore you so much.
After more than 50 years, her father, who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, announced in 2023 that he is retiring from live performances.
At the Back to the Beginning concert, which was livestreamed in the United Kingdom, Ozzy, 76, guitarist Tony Iommi, drummer Bill Ward, and founding Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler got back together for the first time in twenty years.
The 10-hour program, which was presented by Jason Momoa, included performances by Metallica, Jack Black, Steven Tyler, and Guns N Roses, among others.
The British rock star sat on a black throne-shaped chair with a bat on top and sung favorites like Mama I’m Coming Home and Crazy Train during his performance.
