16 and Expectant MotherIn connection with chef John Mark Harris’s tragic overdose, Whitney Purvis has been arrested and is being detained by the police on felony involuntary manslaughter charges.

Records show that the former reality star was apprehended by sheriff’s officials in Floyd County, Georgia, on Monday. She was accused of purposefully disseminating a medication called Tranq, which is a combination of fentanyl and the sedative Xylazine.

Authorities claimed that the man had a toxic overdose from the Tranq, a substance known as “arising zombie” in New York City.

Harris passed away at his Rome, Georgia, home on February 17. His age was 37.

According to TMZ, Purvis was also charged with possession with intent to distribute.

The arrest comes after Weston Gosa, the 16-year-old son of the MTV alum, passed away more than a month ago, allegedly from natural causes.

On June 2, Purvis posted on social media to announce the death: This is really difficult to write. Weston, my gorgeous son, is no longer with us. He was just sixteen years old. Life is so unjust and harsh. I simply [do not] comprehend. I don’t know what to do with myself now that my baby is gone.

The troublesome 33-year-old claimed on Facebook a few weeks later that she was denied entry to the burial, with staff members informing her that she was not on the list.

Purvis also brought up concerns over the teen’s death’s circumstances.

She asserted that her ex-husband, who was in charge of their two boys, Weston Jr. and his younger sibling River, had bought five cars in the last several months but was unable to afford health insurance.
