We have everything you need if you’re planning a hectic weekend of grilling or going to the Jersey Shore.
Just a friendly reminder that although some ground-based fireworks are now permitted in New Jersey, professional pyrotechnics should still be used.

The county s2nd Annual Star Spangled Spectacular
will be held on July 4. Festivities are set to begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Ridgefield Park section of Overpeck County Park. The event will include food trucks and a wine and beer garden. The New Jersey Wind Symphony will perform at 8 p.m. and the event will conclude with a fireworks display. The rain date is July 5.

Independence Day Parade on Friday
, July 4 at 9 a.m. The parade will kick off at the intersection of Farview Avenue and E. Century Road, moving north on Farview Avenue. It will culminate at the Grand Stand, located at Memorial Elementary School on Midland Avenue. The

: The town s115th Annual Fourth of July Celebration
will begin Friday, July 4 with a flag raising ceremony on Wilsey Square at 9 a.m. followed by parade beginning at 10 a.m. Evening entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. with live music, food trucks, beer garden, and fireworks finale.

The township sIndependence Day Parade
, which will step off at the municipal building at 11:30 a.m. on July 4, will end at Crystal Lake Pool. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. There will be prizes for best decorated bikes, wagons, trikes and floats. Free admission to the pool for the day for township residents, family and friends. There will be free hot dogs for first 300 Crystal Lake Pool Complex attendees. The pool will be open until 6 p.m.

The all-day event will feature a children s swim carnival at the Mervyn V.T. Haines Community Pool and, at the Northland Recreation center, there will be a cricket game and pickleball tournament. On the Oval, there will be children s activities, food trucks, vendors, an ice cream eating contest, a rolling video game truck, and a beer and wine garden with live music by Brian Drux Project and Livingston Leo & The Goodhart Boyz. , July 4, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., East Jersey Old Town Village, 1050 River Road. Commemorate the 1778 feu de joie ordered by Gen. George Washington Revolutionary War-era reenactments, 18th-century music, storytelling, and patriotic festivities. The day begins with a Revolutionary Celebration Run and continues with food vendors, historic interpretations, and performances on the Village lawn.

Mountain Creek Resort will host a July 4th Fireworks Celebration on on July 4, starting at 5 p.m. The resort, located at 200 Route 94, will present an evening to include food, a beer garden, local vendors, live music, children s activities and games such as corn hole and giant pong on the Great Lawn outside of Red Tail Lodge. The evening will be highlighted by a fireworks display. Upon arrival, the participating Vernon Fire Departments, representing Vernon, McAfee, Highland Lakes, and Pochuck Valley, will be collecting a $20 parking fee per car, in which 100% of the proceeds will go to volunteer organizations.
