NEW YORKThe Yankees were eager for Marcus Stroman to return from the injured list, and he went above and beyond on Sunday.

After two and a half months on the disabled list, Stroman returned to the field and pitched five innings of one-run ball in the Yankees’ 12-5 victory over the Athletics, allowing just three hits and two walks.
