According to officials, a paintball gun round hit a New Jersey teacher last week as she was leaving a high school parking lot.
According to township police, the instructor was struck in the arm at approximately 5:30 p.m. on June 16 as she was driving away from Union County Vocational Technical High School in Scotch Plains.
She reported the incident the following morning, despite experiencing discomfort and bruises but no significant injuries.
Authorities are unsure if the gunshot was fired by a person on foot or in a moving car.
Investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
