Team Vitals

What This Team Does Better than Anybody:  No team is Morris-Sussex is more physical than the Wolfpack.  Opposing coaches know the week following their game against West Morris is going to all about nursing their bruises.

Biggest Surprise of the Off-season:  How disciplined the team has been in the weight room through the pandemic.

George Muha’s Take

George Muha’s Take is sponsored by Parisi Speed School of Morristown. Reach out to Parisi today to get bigger, faster and stronger because champions are made in the off-season.

The bad news for the Wolfpack is they only bring back one starter on offense.  The good news for the Wolfpack is that one person is Felice Montella.  Montella is the strongest guy on the team and oozes with leadership.  The senior captain will get the newbies on offense up to speed in a hurry.  Plus, this is West Morris after all and everyone knows they have the “next-man-up” philosophy tattooed on their foreheads.  Defensively they’ll be a mouthful for opponents.  The ‘Pack will have the biggest D-line in their division and their linebackers and secondary are very athletic.  The challenge for every team on this schedule is there are no easy games.  And with the shortened schedule, every week will basically be a playoff game.  Prediction:  Assuming their will be some kind of a postseason, having more than one-loss against only six opponents could mean no Second Season for any of the teams in this division.  Openly, this division is so competitive we are just going to have to see how it all plays out.  It’s definitely going to be a game of “last man standing”.
