From the Coach
What This Team Does Better than Anybody: They are a team and they put each other first and look after each other. They have learned how to push each other through the tough times.
Biggest Surprise of the Off-season: The commitment level from every player from 9th to 12th. CJ Conte and Jake Honl are two upcoming sophomores that seem like they will be contributing to our success this season.
Team Goal: To get back the Wildcat WAY and play physical football that will ultimately give us success in the win column.
Final Thought: We have several players like juniors Jordan Eaton, Andy Sieradzki and Chris Feula that we believe will could help us stay healthy by them stepping up and being able to come on the field to give our two way plays a blow at times.
George Muha’s Take
George Muha’s Take is sponsored by Parisi Speed School of Morristown. Reach out to Parisi today to get bigger, faster and stronger because champions are made in the off-season.
This current junior class had a lot of success at the peewee levels and I’ve been following them as they’ve come up to high school. Now that many in this group will be playing at the varsity level, we are going to see them start to re-kindle that success they were used to. I like how some of these players have been maturing too. As an example, junior QB Hunter Morganroth has gotten bigger and stronger but also seems to really take ownership of his leadership role. Prediction: Whippany Park will compete very well against this schedule and has the ability to make a massive turn around from their 0-9 2019 season. And nothing gives a team confidence like dubs and you can expect the ‘Cats to enjoy those this season!
