From the Coach

What This Team Does Better than Anybody: We are very athletic, across the board, skill positions to linemen.

Biggest Surprise of the Off-season: Of 34 players on the roster, which is the most in the 6 or 7 years, 18 of them are new to the program. Not just the 10 Fr, but upperclassmen who decided to come out for the 1st time.

Team Goal: Actually play games and stay healthy

I love how this group of prep schools came together to create this schedule while everything went sideways with Covid-19.  They’ll all be competitive with each other and being able to play twice (maybe even three times if there is some kind of a playoff between themselves) will just be fun.  As for this team, I’m excited to watch Major Jones in action for the last go-around.  He’s been playing since his freshman year and it’s been amazing to watch him transform from a lanky rookie to a legit 6-3, 220-pound college prospect.  My pal Dave McCarthy from The McCarthy Report even has him ranked high on his recruiting list.  Prediction: The Marinello brothers are gamers that don’t like to lose so I envision the Crimson staying ahead of .500 and land in whatever a postseason will look like this season.
