What This Team Does Better than Anybody: Our offensive line returns four starters and our runningback (Dom Verducci) will be a three-year starter. We should be a very strong running team.

Biggest Surprise of the Off-season: How well kids have adapted to the new normal.

Par Hills is coming off a sectional title season and despite the fact they lost studs like JD Breslauer, Dennis Wilson and EJ Comerford to graduation, they might just actually be a better team this season. Jordan Thompson and Zack Taylor are both committed to Rutgers, Chris Dogbe (whose brother is in the NFL) will step up into a bigger role, Dominick Verducci might just be the best runningback in all of Morris-Sussex, Ty Sallie is a D1 commit for baseball and Coach Albano has been to the sectional finals more than just about any other coach in the state.  They have formidable opponents on their schedule but the Vikings are just too good to get tripped up this season.  PREDICTION:  I never like to put too many expectations on a high school football team so don’t take this prediction lightly.  Expect the black and blue to run the table and be competing for whatever a championship might look like this season.
