Outlook: I have a very positive outlook for this year. I have my three returning singles players and two returning doubles players coming back and even though we only had about Two weeks of practice, the boys looked really good. They were working out hard and working together as a team, helping the younger players get acclimated and feeling welcomed. Michael, James, And Pat all looked very solid with their games and very focused. We were in the process of figuring out our doubles teams and unfortunately I lost a very good exchange student from China who had to return to his family. Fortunately I do have other players, who with practice, will be up to speed if and when the season takes place. We do have a nice group of freshman who look very promising for the upcoming seasons that I am very excited about. It will be disappointing if we can’t get this seasoning because I feel we had a really good chance of making a championship run in our league and in the HWS tournament. We will just have to see what the season brings and how quick we can get back and get going.
