Coach’s Outlook:

The boys team has built some momentum coming off of the fall & winter seasons when they had our best showing at the sectional championships in a long time. They bring back a lot of experience in sprints, distance, and hurdles. This includes Indoor Sectional Champion Schafer Sembrat (400m) and State Placewinners Thomas Schulz (1,600m & 3,200m), Nate Hajel (1,600m & 3,200m), Hweeho Lim (55 HH) and Kenji Onari (PV). There are some exciting new pieces this season that should help bolster the line-up as well as give us a boost in the field events.

The girls team is very young. Despite that, they were very competitive this indoor season. The girls return the Indoor County Relay Champions in Pole Vault (Tiffany Zieba & Alexis Merola) as well as the individual County Champion (Alexis Merola). Also returning are state placewinners Willow Bradley (SP & 55m) and Danielle Meribe (SP) who look to lead the defense of their Outdoor County Relay Title from 2019.
