Coach’s Outlook:

River Dell’s main team goals are to again battle for a division title, and have a higher seed in the County Tournament. We lost eight seniors to graduation last spring, and many of those seniors were three and four- year starters for the program. Underclassmen will have plenty of playing time to show off their skills and talents, which should make for battles within certain positions.

Our captains are seniors Jayne Manzelli (St. Bonaventure bound) and Emma McKeon, who are multi-year varsity letter winners who will add leadership and consistency to our team. To be successful, we must stay consistent in our play in every game, focus on fundamentals, and work to improve in every practice. With a three-year starter in goal with junior Noelle Sarafian, we have a great deal of stability on defense.
