Coach’s Outlook:

We are returning a solid core from last year’s team which gained valuable Varsity level experience playing competitive games down the stretch and winning a state tournament game. A good amount of newcomers will compete for playing time and will have an impact on the team’s success along the way. We will focus on competing in each at bat and using our team speed to help us. We are anticipating solid showings in our NJAC Independence Division and the North Non-Public B. Advancing in the MCT will also be a team goal.

Our defense in the middle infield will be anchored by So. SS AJ Guiliana, Jr. and 2B Armaan Grewal who have put in a significant amount of work and improved greatly during the offseason. All of last year’s starting outfielders return – Sr. CF Brian Keigher can track down almost any fly ball in our deep outfield. Srs. Coley Hoving and Patrick Walsh played the corners very well defensively last season and should build on those successes this year. Sr Matt Mount and Jr Aiden Lavin will handle the catching duties along with 3B. Sr Justin Saul and Jr Brian Dino will lead the pitching staff which will also include several of the other two way players and newcomers to the roster. Our Freshmen class is deep with potential across the board. We are very excited to have that depth in the program.
