The Skinny & Prediction

  • Second year coach Will Nahan was masterful in his first season at the helm, winning his first eight games.  He credits his staff for making his job look easy so you got to tip his hat to this humble leader.
  • Offensive coordinator James Hickey is the mastermind behind Randolph’s high flying offense.  His plays seem concocted with a white coat in a laboratory.  But mad scientist he is not.  He just likes to score fast and so do his players so they listen to everything he says.
  • Randolph won’t be skipping a beat from last season.  Yes, some of the names will be knew but they will plugin seamlessly and you can expect the Rams to win often.
  • Count on junior RB Justin Townsend making a big splash this fall.  At 6-2, 220-pounds with legit speed, most teams just simply won’t have an answer for him.
  • This coaching regime sets the bar very high and has everyone bought in.  Last season, they lost a heart breaker in the semi-finals against Irvington.  That game still stings and there is a fire in everyone’s eyes in Ram Nation that they will best last year’s achievement.  And they are giving out a vibe that says, “Get out of our way.”
