Five Key Points

1. Michael Osorio, Liam Barry and Ryan Luttinger are veterans who bring a lot of experience to the trenches. Everything in Coach Kubik’s offense lives and dies with the guys up front. These three guys are the engine that the rest of the offense depends on.
2. Senior RB Matt Mulcahy has been playing varsity football since his freshman year and knows what it’s like to score touchdowns at MetLife Stadium. He’ll be sharing carries with Nasir Love who is a dynamic player himself. Defenses will have to pick their poison on every given play because both of these guys are lethal when they touch the ball.
3. Coach Chris Kubik has five state championships in 12 years as head coach of the Dodgers (’10, ’11, ’12, ’15 & ’16). He has set the standard where winning a state championship every year is expected.
4. Staying healthy while navigating this schedule is going to be the trick for this Dodgers team. There are no easy games so there will likely not be instances where the starters rest while the JV do clean up duty.  Madison has decent depth at every position so that will help if they are to go the distance.
5. The good news going against such a tough schedule like this is the Dodger’s won’t need to go 9-0 to make it to the postseason. Five games will likely provide enough Power Points to get the job done.
