Parzero talks about his amazing playing and coaching career which started at Lenape Valley as a player under legendary head coach Don Smolyn. While in high school, the Patriots made it to the state finals 4-years in a row, winning twice in his freshman and junior seasons. He then went on to play football in college at Chowan University in North Carolina where he started all four years as a defensive back.

After college, Parzero did a two year stint at Boonton under state championship coach Gus Modla, then eight years under Smolyn at Lenape Valley where he was an assistant. After being mentored by some of the best coaches in North Jersey, Parzero accepted a position as the head coach at North Warren where he took the reigns of a team that hadn’t won a game in several years and turned them into a team who frequented the state playoffs. From there, the rest was history!
