How do you get your trading card?
If you make a small $17 donation, we will create a custom digital trading card of you or your favorite athlete that will be posted on our Trading Cards page and individually on our Twitter, Instagram and Facebook pages. And on the trading card, we’ll link it to your hudl page, recruiting profile or social media account of your choice.
So, why are we asking you for a donation? Well, although Morris Sussex Sports is free to the public – meaning it’s free to watch any of our live broadcast games, listen to our podcasts, read our articles, etc. there are a lot of costs that go into making all this great content for you.
So by getting a trading card for you or your favorite athlete, you are not only doing them a service by allowing us to honor them, you are also doing us a service by helping us bring even more of the best coverage of high school sports in Morris-Sussex than their ever could be.
Trading Card Contest
Now, you are probably thinking, “What else do I get in return?” We’ve got you covered with our Trading Card Contest to motivate every single athlete in every sport at every level in each school to get their own Trading Card for the greater good of their school.
Every single school that is represented by 100 trading cards by April 1st of 2019 will receive a LIVE Morris Sussex Sports broadcast of the spring sport that is most represented by the trading cards.
Example: Let’s say by April 1st School X has exactly 100 trading cards made – 45 for football, 30 for baseball and 25 for lacrosse. Well, because baseball is the spring sport with the most trading cards, they would be the team that gets the broadcast in the spring.
And we promise you it’s worth it because our broadcasts are pretty dope with 3-4 camera angles, HD quality production, two commentators, instant replay, and you know, the works! And who knows, your game might contain an incredible moment that our broadcast would capture so your team can enjoy it for years afterward.
Which schools are eligible?
Morris Sussex Sports basically covers all of the teams that are in the NJAC Conference. So that’s every team in Morris and Sussex counties and North Warren and Hackettstown in Warren County. But to take the guessing out of it, here are the teams we cover:
