Roxbury recently celebrated 100 years of football. After a hundred years, this town knows about graduating seniors and shifts in schedules. They know about searching for a QB who can keep his head together under pressure. They know about the importance of a good coach, a man they trust to teach their sons about life and the many ways in which they can win at it. They’re patient in Roxbury because they know about football, and what it takes to win. But they’re also patient because their guys work hard to hold up their end of the deal. This 2014 team won’t disappoint its town.
QB Grant Dixon (jr.) Last year’s QB is a three-sport varsity athlete (football, basketball, lacrosse) who threw for over 700 yards. FB/LB Nick Snow (sr.) is a downhill runner, and important on both sides of the ball.

A Look Back at 2013
Roxbury played solid defense throughout the season. Against a tough Par Hills squad, the Gaels held the Par Hill’s prolific offense to fourteen points in a 14-7 loss. And, the 9/3 state finals qualifier Par Hills beat Morristown 27-7, while Roxbury beat Morristown 13-10.
Forecast for 2014
Every game will be a fight for the Gaels in this tough conference but they have the personal to turn close games into wins. Fine-tuning the offense will be key here.
Randolph is the must-see game 10/31, 7PM, at Roxbury.
