Dover’s superstar runninback/linebacker George Scalley could literally be Player of the Week every other week. The stud athlete has almost single handidly put Dover football back on the map with his dazzling on field performances. This past week was one of those weeks where the senior ran for over 200 yards and a couple of scores in a 33-13 win over division rival Hackettstown. The win not only puts them at 3-3 but significantly increases the Tigers chance at a postseason bid.
It’s this performance that earns Scalley Morris Sussex Football’s Week 6 Player of the Week. MSF caught up with Scalley to talk about this big win, some of his supporting cast and what he hopes his legacy will be.
