2017 All Unruly Nominations

On December 24th, Christmas Eve, Morris Sussex Sports will be publishing our most anticipated piece of the year – The 2017 All Unruly Team. This is where we highlight all the top players, and honor all of the people that made this season such a memorable one. All of us writers pour over stats, notes and video to make sure we select the most deserving players. But we also ask for our audience’s participation so they have a chance to weigh in as well. As a point of reference, here is the 2016 All Unruly Team.

With this is mind, we would love for you to participate and let us know who you think deserves to be a Player of the Year, a First, Second or Third Teamer, or someone who deserves to be on the Honorable Mention list. We’d also love to know who were the Top Players as Rated by Opponents (fans are welcome to vote on this one too). Lastly, we’d love to know what are the Top Plays of the Year, Most Funniest On The Field Moments and Your Favorite Morris-Sussex Nicknames for Players.

Please feel free to tell us who you think deserves to be honored on the All Unruly Team this year. Last season nearly 400 players were honored in our awards. If you know any stats or relevant numbers or facts, please make sure to include them for our consideration.

*Please copy and paste the list below and email your nominations to george (at) morrissussexsports (dot) com.

    Hahaha…..Not only is this the Homer website of the year award winner but you clowns also get first place for the “Everyone gets an award” Awards…aka the Unruly Awards. Classic. Why don’t you just add Unruly Trainer, Unruly Waterboy, Unruly Concession Stand, Unruly Ticket-taker, Unruly 505-50 Raffle Ladies, Unruly Port-A-Johns, Unruly Custodial Staff, Unruly PA Sound System, Unruly Lighting, Unruly Grass, Unruly Fieldturf, and finally, The Unruly Who Gives a Crap about this Crap Award – To wich Muha would be the well deserving yearly receipient.

    Bro, there is so much negativity in the world I am proud to deliver our area a homerish website with an All Unruly 50/50 Raffle Lady of the Year…which is a brilliant idea, by the way!

    Can’t believe that the following nugget if Muhaism was overlooked by me: “almost 400 players received awards last year”. What the %#@ !!! This is what’s wrong with society in general and high school/youth sports specifically. EVERYBODY gets and award (and a nickname too apparently (regardless of trying way too hard just to come up with one). There’s a difference between being a local guy rooting for local teams and a goofball whose picks and “awards” carry not value because they are so ludicrous.

    Let me guess. You’re going to pick three sectional titles come back to the area. Newton, Mount Olive and Htown. Newton is a lock. Mount Olive will lose by 4 scores ( oh your other classic move is if you do pick against a local in the playoffs it’s always a squeaker e.g. OT 31 MO 30: hilarious. 1 title. That’s it. Looking forward to laughing at your half a grand award diatribe in December.

      Haha, you crack me up Pete! I would agree that I root these kids on rather than being beat writer trying to come up with the latest juicy story. There is plenty wrong with society to get passionate about but I’m pretty sure my “goofball” website is not one of them. Thank you for not actually swearing by the way.

    You take things in stride Muha. I can respect that. You know what I’ve written is correct and I concede that no one will ever look upon your website as a source of negativity. Stupidity cloaked in homerism, but definitely not negativity.

    Congrats to Newton in advance, to the Tigers of Htown for a well fought (not played – too many turnovers and 4th down shortcomings) game;

    and condolences to MO. NVOT will roll tomorrow – but a share of the Division for MO is a great turnaround from last year.
